Sleep Dentistry Brisbane

Technology

Your comfort is our top priority at Sleep Dentistry Brisbane! Dr Asad and his team use state-of-the-art technology to streamline procedures and make treatment as comfortable as possible for our patients. Read on to learn more about some of the advanced equipment and technology we use.

Digital Impressions

Digital impressions make capturing a likeness of your tooth comfortable, quick, and straightforward. Instead of using messy impression material that can trigger a gag response in many patients, we can now scan a 3-D image of your tooth and use it to design restorations with superior fit and aesthetics.

Rotary Endodontics

Rotary endodontic tools have made root canal treatment more comfortable and efficient. The tools are made of nickel-titanium. Because they're flexible, it's easier for our dentists to comfortably reach the canals deep inside of your tooth to remove the diseased tissue causing your infection.

The tools are also electric so that we can complete the procedure more efficiently.

CBCT Cone Beam Technology

Dr Asad and his team use CBCT cone beam technology to look closer at your teeth, jawbone, sinuses, and soft tissues with a 3-D image. This tool is invaluable for planning oral surgeries, wisdom tooth extraction, dental implant placement and root canal treatment.

3-D imaging allows our dentists to plan treatment ahead of time to ensure the best outcomes and results for our patients.

Digital X-Rays

Digital x-rays give our dentists an internal picture of your teeth and jawbone to help them with diagnosing and treatment planning. These x-rays are safer than traditional film x-rays taken in the past because they emit less radiation. They're also better for our environment because they don't require harsh chemicals to develop.

Nitrous Oxide Sedation

Nitrous oxide, also called laughing gas, is a breathable gas that helps take the edge off for patients during dental procedures. It's administered through a mask worn during your procedures, and when we remove the mask, the effects wear off, and you can continue your normal activities without side effects.
