Happy to sit in dental chair if nothing painful will be done? Or perhaps the thought of having a needle just puts you off?
Once you enter the clinic, our lovely staff will welcome you and make you comfortable. We understand that every patient is unique, and we're equipped to cater to all types of patients - those who are comfortable in the dental chair, and those who may face challenges due to phobias or special needs.
For patients who may find it difficult to get in the physical dental chair due to phobias or special needs, we have specialised protocols in place to ensure your comfort and ease throughout the process.
When we are ready to see you, Dr Asad will take you to the treatment room where you can discuss all your concerns in private. In the dental chair, we start off with an oral cancer screening checking your lips, tongue, cheeks. We will then go through each tooth in detail, outlining its condition. Our team will take photos of your teeth, a few small, digital, instant, painless x-rays and possibly a 3D scan of the upper and lower jaws. Sometimes a big x-ray called OPG/ CBCT is needed and can be done in under 5 seconds. None of these causes any gagging and / or pain.
After the examination is done, we sit you up and then move to the consult lounge for a more comfortable environment. Here, we chat about what we found and if we have any recommendations. We go over your treatment options, their alternatives and their pros and cons, and also run you through possible complications for each. The treatment coordinator will take you through all the sedation options and payment plans and ensure you have a smooth journey throughout this.
Once we finalise your choice of treatment, our treatment coordinator will help you book appropriate appointments, discuss the process of claiming from your health fund, and assist in organising sedation / hospital and post op visits. They will also be your point of contact throughout recovery so you have the peace of mind knowing you have someone to contact who is across your treatment. You will also have direct access to Dr Asad throughout your journey.
